Effective 15 March 2008, Monto Shire Council was amalgamated into the new North Burnett Regional Council, along with the shires of Biggenden, Eidsvold, Gayndah, Mundubbera and Perry.

This website continues to provide access to documents and forms pertaining to the area previously encompassed by the Monto Shire Council.
